These options control behaviour of the patch inclusion stage and are all grouped under the patch key-value.

The patch sub-section within the patch key is required if non-default values are specified.

• layers [Optional, str, default z] - The 'z' (elevation) or 'zo' (roughness) layer where the patch(es) are to be applied.
• patch_on_top [Optional, bool, default True] - If True the patches are applied over the input dem/geofabric if False the are applied only where there is only no data in teh dem/geofabric.
• drop_patch_offshore [Optional, bool, default False] - If True the patches are only applied on land and the foreshore.
