Do not use any VPN solution that you can find in Play Store / App Store. Do not use any that you can find online. VPN solutions are fundamentally a lie - all VPN servers know your IP Address & Activity. It is by design: thats how Client-Server architecture works; thats how the internet works.

Your best bet is really to use a safe OS (See PARANOID section below)

A few perks about this solution: (1) You only have an account number; no email no identifier (2) it comes with its own browser

TOR browser allows you to access .onion sites. It is currently the best (and probably the only one) that you should be using.

Use also, one of the non-tracking search engines.

You can use TOR with a VPN solution for additional anonymity.

(Ron:JAN 2024) A SECOND choice appeared recently (mullvad.net/en/browser) - this browser does not access the darkweb. If you are not intending to access the onion sites, this browser is not a bad choice.

Mullvad browser is developed with Tor project to create a browser designed with minimum fingerprinting.

Search Engine

You need one that does not track.

Thunderbird with PGP encryption

Email Service: I have some confidence in PROTONMAIL (proton.me/mail). Just remember that email services are intrinsically not private by default. Messages are frequently sent in clear.

Protonmail has a PGP option.

Do not use your Mobile Device for browsing. Installing TOR on your mobile phone is an idea, but if you are paraniod, then don't do it. In the end, TOR is still designed by the US Government/Intelligence service, so its not 100% secured until you do all the additional PARANOID checks.

Use any of the disposable email addresses, then use PGP with it.
