Main Configuration Mode

Press and hold both the 'sprint' & 'favorites' buttons until the UI is shown.

Play Seated Mode

  • Toggle if you're playing seated for best body position.

HMD and Body Configuration

  • Configure HMD/Body up/down offset and body in/out offset.

Weapon Grip Modes

  • Mode 1: Hand automatically snap to the barrel when in range, move hand quickly to let go.
  • Mode 2: Hand automatically snap to the barrel when in range, press grip button to let go.
  • Mode 3: Holding grip button to snap to the barrel, release to let go.
  • Mode 4: Press grip button to snap to the barrel, press again to let go.

Pipboy Configuration Mode

  • Activation: Press and hold the 'favorites' button with the Pipboy open
  • To Cancel Changes: Exit Pipboy without using the UI
  • To Save Changes: Use the UI save button

Wrist-Based Pipboy On/Off Improvements

  • Quick Access: Press left trigger to open the Pipboy
  • Torch Control: Hold trigger to toggle torch (similar to Projected Pipboy mode)

Switch Between Pipboy Models

  • Access via Pipboy Config Mode
  • Toggle between Standard and HoloPipboy models

New Pipboy NIF

  • Supports interchangeable standard and holo Pipboys
  • Includes interactive elements: switches, buttons, and dials
  • Designed for new visual improvements

Torch & Radio Virtual Buttons

  • Note: Pipboy must be off to use these features
  • Use virtual buttons to toggle torch and radio

Interactive Pipboy UI Controls

  • Must have wrist-based Pipboy enabled in-game
  • Game window must be in focus
  • Control Pipboy with your primary index finger

Primary hand Pipboy Controls

  • Navigate menus with right stick / trigger
  • Switch main tabs using face buttons on the secondary controller

Torch Mode Switching (Head vs. Hand Based)

  • Activate the torch
  • Raise secondary controller to top of your head
  • When you feel continuous rumble, press grip to switch mode

Auto Hand Posture for Pipboy Usage

  • Hand automatically points when in range of the Pipboy and screen is being looked at
  • Hand returns to normal when out of range
