Manifestation of the manufacturing data service (MDS)

This is BETA release of the Additive Manufacturing Alliance database search website. This is the first public-facing manifestation of the manufacturing data service (MDS). It showcases Autodesk's materials partners’ rigorously tested data for materials end-part properties based on controlled additive process parameters, materials and machine combinations. It also illustrates the vision to Autodesk's additive materials partners a new way to introduce their additive materials products to a large and diverse Autodesk user base. This will encourage more additive materials companies to join the materials ecosystem.

The AM Alliance site:

• Shows off capability & depth of MDS
• Gives Netfabb and Preform users an expanded palette of options for printing, simulation and generative design
• Allows design & simulation of the materials in Fusion and Inventor by showcasing the properties required for each type of FEA solver
