beas has many different calculation options. The structure of precalculation, master data, production, to costing analysis is always uniform.

The following calculation types are available:

• Precalculation
• Batch analysis
• Production costing analysis (incl. batch costing analysis)

The calculation type is stored in so-called templates that can be freely defined per item.

A standard calculation is structured as follows

Material costs according to bill of materials

•    Cost of external operation
  

•    Indirect material costs (according to material group)
  

= Material Costs

Manufacturing costs according to routing

•    Production overhead in %
  

= Non Material Mfg Cost

= Production Cost

•    Shipping costs, administration, sales
  

= Cost of Sales

•    Profit Margin
  

= Net Selling Price

•    Discount
  

= Sales Price

This standard structure can be expanded and modified as desired and is used by all calculation systems.
