The current item is always displayed at the top, even if switching to the lower tabs.

Field Meaning Position Position number Item Item can be selected. Click on the drop down icon to open the selection window. Right click: you can pre-select only purchase parts or only in-house production, to narrow down the item range. General tab Field Meaning Quantity Required quantity per assembly to be produced according to column "per" All entries in BOM item are given in warehouse units. See: Quantity units

In contrast to master data quantities in consumption units are converted directly to consumption units. Quantities in consumption units are not taken into account in production BOM position.

After changes, the price is revalued. Previous pricing (planned costs) is overwritten. per Column "per" refers to "per" assembly to be produced. A value of 0 means, the given quantity is a fixed value, the total quantity is independent of the assembly quantity see master data - Edit BOM Fixed quantity surcharge fix surcharge for this operation. Example: qty 3, qty per 10, fixed qty 5 100 pieces are produced material requirement arises: 3 * 100 : 10 + 5 = 35 pieces Calculated scrap hmtoggle_plus1 Calculated from scrap values This value is calculated when the work order is created, it can not be changed. It is a one time surcharge. (Assembly quantity * BOM quantity) + "calculated scrap" If the assembly quantity is changed, the "calculated scrap" does not change. To re-calculate, a work order update is required.

Note: If in BOM position "Do not post scrap" is activated, scrap will not be determined.

If there was nothing entered, the warehouse is determined automatically when the work order is created. In Production - BOM item the warehouse is mandatory, it cannot be deleted. Pricing: See Configuration wizard - Pre-calculation - Material pricing If the work order is created from a pre-calculation, prices from pre-calculation are used.

If changing the supplier or the quantity, a new pricing is performed. If special price lists are to be considered, these have a higher priority see Configuration wizard - Pre-calculation - Material pricing
