Function Field Meaning Open search window first hmtoggle_plus1 Query before opening the list

If this option is enabled, a selection screen opens first.Then, the work order can be selected.

Advantage: faster selection with many work orders in data base.

Variable auftr_str_suchmaske, Standard N Extended status display hmtoggle_plus1 Visibility of icons indicating work order status

In work order structure right to the work order icons are displayed, indicating whether postings or time receipts have been created.

For large databases this can lead to low performance. Use this switch to disable the display.

Variable fertstructur_estatus, Standard J Integrated batch tracing hmtoggle_plus1 Activate integrated batch tracing

If this option is enabled, click on a batch in work order structure to view all related transaction documents displayed right below the batch (posting in the batch or from which other batch this batch derived)

Note: max. 50 transactions are displayed per batch

If a single batch is moved very often, the overview can be lost. For this reason, this option should not be activated in such cases. Better use the function "batch tracing"

Serial number related items are also affected.

View Bill of Materials Field Meaning BOM multiple postings
Clicking on a BOM item, generally the function „material issue" instead of „Item x issue“ is displayed. For collective posting action (eg. click on assembly, work order or at multiple selection) „material issue“ is displayed, by which several BOM items can be charged off at once. BOM single posting Click on a BOM item, the feature „issue item x“ is displayed (downward compatibility)

SQL-extensions for the structure view - BOM / routing In structure view only a few customizations are possible. Allocation Field Meaning Allocation Defines, which allocation function will be made available Standard: allocation function introduced in beas8.8. Only available with activated reservation system. beas2009:old allocation function Only available for compatibility reasons. It is not recommended to us for new installations. This list has the following restrictions:

  1. no allocation of batch and serial number related items
  2. no support of bin locations
  3. no pre-allocation feature This function is doing a transfer per work order item. The transfer is linked directly to the material and displayed in the work order list. That why this function can be used without reservation. Disadvantage: Because the goods on the allocation warehouse are not reserved they can be accessed by other work orders. Buttons: quick allocation: all entries having a quantity are allocated Allocation: the "transfer manually" screen opens. This is used for batch or serial number related items. The list has two types of display: Compressed: total requirement per item Broken down: every material position is shown separately

hmtoggle_plus1 Allows a multi level display for material requirement lists Affects Reservation function, the default Material requirement list, Material issue and Allocation. If this option is enabled, and you right-click on a BOM item, selecting one of the above mentioned features, not only the material requirement of the current BOM item is considered, but also the material requirement of its sub-structure. Material requirement with purchase Available only for compatibility reasons. Material requirement list, from which a purchase order can be created. The created purchase order is not work order related.
