Navigation: Production > Work order general > WO structure > FA Structure Material postings: Journal No contents entries on this page Contents For each booking to an account created by SAP Business One for posting documents or for each journal entry, which is created by beas, another journal information header is created (table beas_journal). This superordinate document is normally linked firmly to a SAP Business One journal document. In this document the origin is described. For assembly postings the price calculation is documented and the results are presented in post-calculation for this posting.

Configuration of a journal entry for assembly posting At posting you can set up to have a calculation (see Configuration wizard) before creating the journal entry. The assembly and additional costs on the WIP account are valued. In the journal entry, the valuation result and the calculation are displayed.
Area pricing Overview on all displayed information. Which row are displayed, depends on the selected valuation.
Title Description Valuation Which valuation is used. Independent from valuation settings, no matter if partial posting or final posting. Material actual costs Which valuation for actual material costs was used. Default setting is posting price, but it may be as well a pre-calculation price or a price from price list. See Configuration wizard - Post-calculation Pricing at valuation Determines, from which area of the calculation schema the valuation price shall be used and if to value at marginal or at full costs, or if to take prices from price list. See Valuation of assembly Pre-calculation Material pricing Only active, if valued at planned costs. There you decide, how the material is valued at planned quantities. Set up in Configuration wizard - Pre-calculation - Material pricing Value planned costs at Only active, if valuing at planned costs. This setting overrides the pricing "Pre-calculation Material pricing" if not "Pre-calculation" was stored. There, you store the planned pricing for post-calculation, which can affect valuation. See Configuration wizard - Post-calculation Projection to posting quantity Visible only, if "Conversion to posting quantity" in configuration wizard was stored. From the already posted quantity the quantity still to be posted is projected Pricing assembly Hooklet, if a partial delivery shall be valued at planned costs. In case of final posting, "final posting (actual costs" will be displayed, otherwise "partial delivery (planned costs)" Already posted Posted sums are listed, split into: Material already posted Production already posted Surcharge already posted
It is calculated: "previously posted" + "quantity yet to be posted" Less already booked amounts, split by material, production and surcharge
Sum results from Material costs - already posted = Remains Material L+M costs - already posted = Remains Production Surcharge costs - already posted = Remains Surcharge
Total price post-calculation for quantity to be posted in: Remains Material + Remains Production + Remains Surcharge Posting quantity Quantity to be posted in Factor conversion Conversion factor for calculation value to quantity to be posted in (Example 50 pcs already posted, 50 pcs to be posted: Factor = 0,5 Material price proportionally marg/full costs Calculated price considering conversion factor L+M costs proportionally marg/full L+M costs proportionally, with consideration of conversion factor Production price marg/full Costs of sales marg/full With surcharge costs, the post-calculation value will be used as reference.
