Note: formulas should not stored in fields, which have additional dependencies like resources.

Field Meaning Field Data base - field name Description Description of the field Type Type of formula Name ID of formula or table Information Free text, displayed at calculation or when formula is solved Change May the calculated value be changed by the user? Unit Only visible, if "change" was enabled. Displayed or entered unit of measurement during calculation Variable type Only visible, if "change" was enabled. Type "Character" or "Number". Determines the format of input/output Decimals Only visible, if "change" was enabled. If variable type was set to "Number": number of decimals Selection Only visible, if "change" was enabled. The user gets options to select from.

Available types Type Meaning Formula The specified formula is used. see Formulas Table The specified table is used. see Tables Variant The content of a product variable is used. Important: all variables of all configurations are displayed. A valid variable needs to be selected here. The program is not able to check, whether the variable is valid. Item field The content of the item field is returned. Then, the item field ( data base columns) can be selected Manually Manual entry BEAS-Script A script is execute and the returned value is used. see beas-Script
