Requirements:

  • Apache PHP-Server (no Tomcat support)
  • beas-Kaba-Benzing-Application (included in standard)
  • KABA Benzing-Terminal. Only some devices are supported. Please see Hardware requirements

By default the application "kababenzing" is delivered, but it needs to be installed. It contains 6 default apps, defining server and client. A simple customization is possible to meet individual requirements.

wo_start Logon with an operation to a work order

wo_end Logoff from a registered work order Query: card number, barcode, operation, yield and scrap quantity

In Program group Administration - KabaBenzing - Setup settings can be changed for this app: backflushing = issue material and post in assemblies? Disabled by default. If enabled, the related material is issue and the assembly is posted in. If no material is available, nothing is posted. Because this is a offline solution, no check for material availability is possible, no notes can be issued. Batches and serial number related items are not posted. Bin locations are not supported. For the item to be posted in the batch or serial number needs to be determinable automatically. Order status

Basic functions can be adapted and extended. New functions can be realized easily. Licensing: for each device a factory data capture license is needed !

Note: Backflushing is not available for order time logoff. Material posting would be theoretically possible, but the devices are not configured for such applications.

Only some devices are supported, please see Hardware requirements. Only a current, non modified operating system is supported.

Alternatively, beas supports B-COMM for Windows EXP/Windows 2003. All other device types of Kaba Benzing can be connected. B-COMM-Java is not supported. As KABA Benzing does not support this software, we disadvise to use it.

Note: the device is programmed by beas automatically as it is turned on. In this moment all programs and the current time are transferred. There is no automatic switch between winter and summer time.
