View Field Meaning View Unique name for the view Description Description of the defined view Display selected resources only If active, only the resources that were selected in the plan (APS / VIEW) are displayed. The work sequences are no longer connected by arrows here. This setting is useful if you require a pure resource view, i.e. grouped by resources. Date range from today minus ... Days until Defines which date range should be displayed. Configured in calendar days. Optimum day adjustment The optimum date range is calculated automatically on the basis of the data to be displayed. Scrolling mode hmtoggle_plus1 If a work sequence is moved, you can define how APS should react after the move No action Work sequence can be moved freely. Makes sense e.g. if an automatic optimized dispatch should be performed by group function Mark After the move, the work sequence is specified and marked. If scheduling is then performed, all production orders in which the work sequences are marked are recalculated. The work sequence is not moved by the calculation due to its specification. Dispatch After the move, the work sequence is specified, marked and immediately dispatched, making the change immediately visible in the utilization display. Resource limits are not considered. The "forward scheduling" method is used for dispatching. Where necessary the work sequence is automatically moved back to the first work time. The duration is corrected accordingly. Dispatching with resource limits Like dispatching, but resource limits are considered. After the move, the work sequence is moved back if necessary – to the first free time for the resource and the duration is adapted accordingly (depending on the resource capacity at that time). fix, dispatch and hold together The next free time window is sought into which the position can be inserted completely.
