ID field is column "vri" The external configurator works in parallel to the product configurator. Link to the configuration to be used in sales order is established via column rdr1.U_beas_vri

Creating work orders or calculations in the field "configuration" not only the configuration can be accessed but also the external configurations (beas_config_header).

To use the configurator, activate it in Configuration wizard - Production - Product configurator - External configurator

Configurations can be created manually via Varianten production - external configurator:

1. Create a new configuration or edit an existing configuration (Table beas_config_header)
2. Create or edit existing BOMs and routings (beas_config_stl / apl)

Multi-level BOMs Multi-level BOMs can be created: In field "itemcode" the item number of the superordinated item is required. Connection via item number (beas_config_stl.art1_id zu beas_config_stl.itemcode) That why assemblies may occur only once in a BOM. In the view, there is a button "Structure" to register multi level BOMs.

Note This works in Pre-calculation and work order creation. Tools, alternative and parallel routings are not considered.
