The detailed results are stored and archived. Several calculation scenarios can be created, whereas only one scenario for is used for price valuation or standard cost method. In the item master - calculation tab the result of a batch calculation for specific item can be displayed in detail or as a histogram or list.

The batch calculation runs in multitasking mode, i.e. after the start of the calculation the program continues to work normally. Values calculated ​​in the background can be viewed directly. The batch calculation processes at most 400 entries and restarts. Thus even at low memory a "buffer overflow" is excluded, any number of entries can be calculated. The calculation is very complex, therefore it is recommended to perform the calculation with high amounts of data only on powerful PCs. Please note, that the network and the server can be loaded heavily during a calculation. The number of records can be manipulated by beas-Script setvar = batchcalc_set = xxx (xxx = number of records) are affected.

For item variants, items with value "A" are used. Variant formulas and variations scripts are ignored.

The batch calculation can be performed automatically e.g. weekly overnight using the beasserver. see Manage Server.

The calculation settings stored in Configuration Wizard - Calculation - Pre-calculation are used for calculation. The calculation lot sizes and plans stored in the item master data are used in calculation.
