Field Meaning Drawing Number Drawing number of the tool Item Tool type Customer Tool for customer or from customer Project Project for which the tool is used Use (per shot / lift) hmtoggle_plus1 Use factor of the tool If a tool can produce several parts per shot. If the use factor changes, use this field to apply the change to all routing positions.
Example: a stamping tool can produce 20 parts per shot. Utility factor = 20. After certain time, the tool is partly defective and can only produce 18 parts. Using this utility factor, this information can be written directly to all active routings and work orders. Enter 18 to this field and click the tool icon next to it, to apply changes to all routing positions. The time receipt will be considered at counter reading. This field is only visible, if "determines lead time" was activated. Item Number When tools should be entered or should generate a demand through production, an item entry must be made in parallel to the tool. This entry defines the item entry through which the tool is entered. At the same time, it is necessary to define a tool store in the options into which the tool can be entered for the interim period, if the tool is used. The intermediate inventory should be of the type "Locked inventory". An automatic transfer of the tool is performed for setup login of an order (only for specific setup report)
