Resources include, e.g. another operation (parallel operation), tools and other accessories required for the processing or setup of the machine or an alternative operation.
These are dispatched through Capacity Planning and included.
Field Description Field Meaning Position Unique position number - normally in increments of 10 to add subsequent positions. This number also serves as sort criterion for the terminal display. Type Selecting the resource type with the right mouse button Resource Designation of the resource - depending on the type selection, the resource can be selected with the right mouse button Description Designation of the resource - is automatically carried forward after selecting the resource Quantity Overall demand of the resource, e.g. number of tools Setup time The setup time in 'per' according to the field "Time per" Mach+Labor Time/unit The mach+labor time in 'per' according to the fields "Time per" and "Quantity per" Additional Info Any additional information displayed at the FDC terminal of a tool Utility factor The utility factor – the inverse of work steps. See Calculation of target time. Example: By sawing a board apart, the material is provided for two finished goods - the utility factor is thus 2. Number factor The opposite to the utility factor. Example: Two steps are necessary to produce a part. The time per 1 cut is stored, the quantity of the required cuts is stored with number. Quantity per .. The requirement time is specified for each number indicated here per assembly to be produced. Example: For 1000 the time is per 1000 finished parts. Time by Times are specified in hours or minutes.
Types Type Meaning Tool Tools required for the operation. Any number of tools can be stored. Tools also have a time requirement and can be planned like resources. If "Only 1 tool" is activated in the options, only one tool is ever active and the other tools are the alternatives. Utility Required utilities (only information) Parallel A parallel resource can be a second person, machine required in parallel etc. Parallel resources require time (capacity planning) and costs (pre-calculation). Time receipt can be reported separately for a parallel resource. (Info for bar code: 6-digit beas_ftapl.number + 3-digit beas_ftapl_wkz.pos_id) Alternative Any number of alternative resources can be inserted. If the order has been created, you can use the production structure subsequently to specify which alternative should be used. To do this simply click in the structure view: Use this alternative. All data specified here is replaced in the operation at that moment.
