Results are saved in tables BEAS_OITM_MATERIAL BEAS_OITM_RESOURCEN if the option "Calculate material and resources" has been enabled.

Which assemblies to calculate can be selected with filters on item, item group etc using a (AND)-conjunction

Note Phantom assemblies are not considered in selection. If the sub-structure contains a sub-assembly, it will be broken down and taken into account.

Lead time is calculated as follows: backward scheduling from the moment of calculating the manufacturing lot size. The result is a date in the past. Then the number of days until the current day is calculated. The sum equals the lead time per manufacturing lot size. Calculate material and resources Enabled: material requirement and resource requirement is calculated

based on the stored routing of the complete work order structure related to the manufacturing lot size. The required material and resource times is calculated for the complete production.

The result is saved to the following tables: BEAS_OITM_MATERIAL BEAS_OITM_RESOURCEN

Quantities and times are stored scaled down per quantity unit.

Note: Material requirement of the purchase parts and storage related assemblies is saved. The requirement of order related assemblies is not saved, as these are neutral for balance calculation.

To perform the computation on a regular basis, you can create an activity.
