Initially, a key master record is defined independent of cost element/cost center. It contains all cost centers that receive their share of costs from this key. The keys can be assigned to multiple cost elements (distribution) or cost centers (shares).

Key tab Field Meaning Op.No. Code of the key master record Designation Text field for the description of the key Unit Text field to designate the type of key. Button Field Meaning Cost centers For the collection of cost centers which incur costs using this key. Access to this data is also possible from Cost centers. The data always refer to the selected key and selected month.
