In beas, prices cannot be input in the posting transactions. Therefore automatic pricing is performed, which can be configured here. Pricing affects all posting transactions, whether for adjustment entries, backflushed posting transactions or crediting of in-house parts. However there is another dependency, e.g. the configured item valuation method. For the crediting of finished items (production), other valuation options are also available.

If continual inventory management is activated, the valuation method is stored in the item master. The method of pricing is dependent on this.
