Planned activities are small scripts, which are executed regularly. These can be called:

  1. via beas-Server service (see Server administration configuration)
  2. via Windows task planner (see Concept Tasks, beas-call-up parameters)

General information see Tasks If a task is called via Windows task planner, (call-up parameter task=..") settings "active", "from time" and "iteration" are not considered, as this can be set up in more detail in the Windows task planner.

All stored tasks are displayed. Multiple selection and copy&paste of the selected functions is possible. Field Description No Number of activity If beas.exe is called up using the parameter "task", you can indicate the stored number. See: Tasks Designation description of task

The following functions are available Function Description Edit Edit currently selected task New Create new task Delete Delete currently selected task. A copy is stored in the clipboard. Copy All marked entries are copied to the clipboard Insert All entries from the clipboard are inserted. Start Server (For test purpose): call up server screen. Tasks are executed directly. Common Test Test-screen for beas-common-interface. Further information see beas-script-documentation.

Editing a task Field Description Field Description Description Specifies the name of the task From time xx:xx to xx:xx The time period is defined here, during which the task will be carried out. Loop Range in which the task in the given time period will be carried out. Enter 0 to have the script executed only once in the given period.

Example: Period 8:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs Loop 10 Minutes Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday

This means that the task will start on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every 10 minutes between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. Run The course of action to be taken will be defined here with the help of beasScript. see Server examples Last Run The last time that the task was started. Last Message Using the message, see whether the task was successful or faulty in the last run.
