In the factory calendar holidays and day templates are defined, which are necessary for the resource planning (capacity planning, order proposal list, net requirements list) and for plan time calculation in the attendance recording. The holidays as well as the Daily Schedule required for resources planning (capacity planning, MRP run - net requirements report) as well as for the plan time calculation of the presence record are defined in the factory calendar. The factory calendar is generated each year. This takes place through an automatic prompt (or if it is missing) with the button "NEW". To make sure calendar weeks are counted correctly, enter the first say of the first calendar week. The holidays are automatically calculated in German language areas and can be selected or deselected. Day templates (see Daily Schedule) can be assigned to weekdays. After they have been generated, the holidays and resources can be determined per day.
After a new creation or a change in the factory calendar, it is recommended to call Master data - recalculate resources
