The SAP Business One - window "units of measure" is opened. If beas is started without SAP Business One, the beas - window units of measure opens. Administration of units of measure in beas and SAP Business One uses the same data, it is always synchronized. In the beas - screen additional information can be stored. Accessible: in SAP Business One - screen use right click - extended.

hmtoggle_plus1 The following units of measure are available in beas: Warehouse unit for storing goods and counting at inventory and display in inventory history (Field OITM.InvNtryUom) Consumption unit in this unit quantities are expressed in BOMs. It is a beas - own unit. The conversion factor can be calculated using formulas. See Conversion (Field OITM.U_me_verbr) Sales unit used for offers, customer orders ... invoices (Field OITM.SalUnitMsr) Purchase unit used for purchases, delivery, purchase invoices (Field OITM.BuyUnitMsr) Inventory unit Unit for stocktaking. Has been introduced with SAP Business One 9.1, is currently not supported by beas (Field OITM.CntUnitMsr)
The warehouse unit and consumption units are defined in production. Also the conversion between these units is defined there.
The warehouse unit is always used for postings. If a posting is done through beas, you have the option to enter the quantity in consumption units or in warehouse units.
hmtoggle_plus1 Extended functions in SAP Business One environment
Restrictions: SAP Business One allows a subsequent change of the unit ID and designation. In the item the designation is saved, not the ID. Because beas connects the ID with additional information, for example with rounding function, the ID and designation need to match in SAP Business One. In SAP Business One it is also possible to change existing unit ID. For example, "kg" can be changed to "ton". All existing items, which are stored in "kg" are then stored in "tons". Inventory would change from 10 kg to 10 tons.
That why there are restrictions by beas: Designation and ID of the unit must be the same. Ids may not be changed subsequently.
