In beas – user administration behind a SAP Business One-User a second user for a separate connection to DI-API can be set up. This makes only sense in case this user is different from SAP Business One-user.

The user is registered 2x as SAP Business One user. 1x as the actual user (the user knows the password) and 1x as DI-API-user (this user can be shared by several users and the password is secret). This DI-API user has full rights. In the user administration in “DI-API-application”, the second user is specified.

In user administration under „DI-API-Connection“ the second user is entered. At logon in SAP Business One, the user enters his password and in the background a registration with the DI-API-user is performed. Thus, the user can use functions released for him in the SAP environment and beas can execute all the necessary functions.
