Cost elements allow the subdivision of all costs incurred, e.g. into machinery costs, personnel costs, setup costs, external processing costs, etc. Cost elements are stored in resources, work sequences, tools, etc. The display is defined in the calculation template. This is then displayed in the precalculation and costing analysis.
Accounts can also be stored in the cost elements. If an order report (FDC) is made, the accounts stored there are debited directly. Alternatively, the accounts can be stored in the calculation template (better alternative). The accounts are then debited on receipt of the finished part or closure of the work order.
Cost elements are grouped into cost element groups, allowing a total per cost element group. Surcharges can also be defined in cost elements. These can be considered in the precalculation and costing analysis and posted separately.
