Connection

The nRF24l01 sensors are advertised as having up to an 800 meter range, but taking into account the power of the Raspberry Pi and other factors, the actual tested distance is much lower. The devices seemed to communicate well up to roughly 170 meters, and further distances experienced more connection issues and packet loss. Make sure that you keep within this distance of the Pi Hub and try and maintain line of sight with the hub as much as you can, as objects in between you and the hub can reduce connectivity.

Connection problems may also be due to power issues. We've optimized the code and done testing to ensure that the power functions as optimally as possible, but there's still a chance that there may be issues. Ensure that you are using a power source that is rated for 5v 2.1A.
