One of the RT extensions that work with EMC is RTLinux. You can get it from http://www.rtlinux.org. Currently FSMLabs distributes several version of RTLinux. Some are comercial versions, but there is a free one called RTLinux-Free. Before installing RTLinux you might want to read this: http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/RTLinux-HOWTO.html
