Installation

If you haven't already installed LinuxCNC go to Installing LinuxCNC.

Realtime Test

To test if LinuxCNC will run on your hardware you should run the RTAI latency test(http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?TweakingSoftwareStepGeneration#Run_a_Latency_Test). This can be done from the LinuxCNC Live CD(http://linuxcnc.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=21&Itemid=4&lang=en).
