Schedule

This is the tentative schedule proposed by jepler:

• February 1: no new features on master, only stabilization.
• March 1: emc 2.4~beta.deb packages on linuxcnc.org (pre-beta packages are already available(http://mid.gmane.org/[email protected]))
  • Call for translators
  • update documentation for new features
• (create v2.4_branch somewhere in here)
• April 15: emc 2.4.0 packages on linuxcnc.org *It looks like the initial release will be delayed somewhat. Hopefully it can be before May 10, we'll have to see. (from SWPadnos, the somewhat busy maintainer-to-be of EMC2 2.4)
• June 1: anticipate at least one bugfix release by this date
• June xx: emc 2.4.1 / Ubuntu 10.04 Live CD by Fest
