  • My system uses three gecko g201 stepper drivers, to drive my 3 axis mill.

Trials and tribulations towards getting BDI 4.20 to work:

  • The X and Y axis are 12,800 pulses per inch. (0.25 ipr on 48:30 gearing)
  • The Z axis is 32,000 pulses per inch. (0.1 ipr on 48:30 gearing)

Trying to get any speed was pully teeth.

So I just stuck with the standard period of 0.000024 in the ini file. And set my speeds to a dismal 19.2 ipm (X&Y), and 4.8 ipm (Z).
