Custom firmware (MiyooCFW) - rik-smeets/powkiddy-bittboy-wiki GitHub Wiki

Guide

An extensive guide to installing the MiyooCFW on your device can be found at the MiyooCFW wiki.

Tips

  • You can skip the boot logo by deleting or renaming the boot-logo file from the root directory of the main partition on the SD card. This greatly improves boot speed!
  • Use a new SD card, so you always have the original SD card if you for some reason want/need to use the original firmware.
  • The SD card with the MiyooCFW will be divided into multiple partitions. The only one you would like to see on your PC, is the partition named main. This contains emulators, apps, etc. In your partition software (like MiniTool Partition Wizard), you can reassign any other partition to not show up by default when inserting the SD card into your card slot. Simply set the Drive Letter to 'None' via Change Driver Letter, as described here.
