This page explains how to use some of the nice features included in this shell.

It's possible to do so by pressing SUPER + W or by opening the control center and clicking on the small image button on top. Not seeing your wallpapers? Set the environment variable $WALLPAPERS in your Hyprland config to your wallpapers directory and restart your Hyprland session!

You can do that by simply pressing SUPER + Print OR select a specific region by only pressing Print

Want to hide the notification popups? Enable the DND mode by opening the control center and toggling the "Don't Disturb" tile.

To do so, open the Control Center and click on the right-arrow button on the speaker slider.

You can change the default speaker inside the Audio page, to do so, open the Control Center and click on the right-arrow button on the speaker volume slider. There's a device list there.

You can change the default microphone inside the Microphone page. Open the Control Center and click on the right-arrow button on the microphone volume slider. There's a device list there.

You can start recording your screen by clicking the "Screen Recording" tile in the Control Center. Stop it by clicking in the top bar screen-recording timer or by clicking in the screen recording tile again.

Open the Control Center, click on the "more" button on the "Night Light" tile, there you can control the Night Light temperature and gamma. (These settings are saved on shutdown)

Open the Control Center and click on the more(right-arrow) at the right side of the Bluetooth Tile.

Click on the spinning arrow button inside the Bluetooth page to enable device discovery, wait for your new device to show up and click on it.

In the bluetooth page, click on the 'x' button of the desired device.

This will reload the entire shell! You can do that by pressing SUPER + F7 OR by running astal reload on your terminal.

The default terminal is kitty, you can start it by pressing SUPER + K

You can click in the top-right button in the top bar, or via key combination: SUPER + N

You can do so by pressing SUPER + M

Click the four-squares icon on the top bar to open the full-screen app search. You can close it by pressing the Esc(Escape) key, or by clicking outside of it. Want to do it in a quicker way? Open the multi-functional runner and search for your applications right-away!

Colorshell's Runner has a lot of built-in functions! You can start it by pressing SUPER + SPACE

Just open the runner and start typing the application name you want to find! If it's not the first option, scroll through the results by using the arrow keys, then press Enter/Return to start the application.

Yes, it's possible to do that here as well! Run any shell commands directly from runner by adding the ! prefix.

You can select image files to apply as wallpapers inside the runner too! The default wallpapers directory is ~/wallpapers. You can set it to your preference by setting the WALLPAPERS environment variable in Hyprland. Add the #(hashtag) prefix to your wallpaper search, or press SUPER + W

This one's very useful! You can search through your history by adding > as a prefix, or better, by pressing SUPER + V

You can quickly control the currently-playing media by adding the : prefix.

Quickly start a search in the web by adding ? as a prefix to your search.

You can quickly lock access to your user by pressing SUPER + L OR by clicking the lock button on control center.

To make the current window float(removes the window from tiling), press SUPER + F

Change focus from window to window by pressing SUPER + Arrow Keys(direction).

You can do that by pressing SUPER + Shift + Arrow Keys(direction).

Toggle the Tiling orientation by pressing SUPER + J

Toggle pseudo-tiling for the current window by pressing SUPER + P
