The default frontend for OpenDingux is called GMenu2x. It's a very simple but very stable frontend. Others are available, however.

To change which menu the device uses as it's frontend one has to edit this file: /usr/local/sbin/frontend_start

GMenu2x

This is the default launcher, and will always be installed. You can always switch to it as a fallback if necessary.

Notes

Wallpapers should be 320x240 png format.
Wallpapers can go in /media/data/local/home/.gmenu2x/skins/Default/wallpapers
Themes can go in /media/data/local/home/.gmenu2x/

This is a clone of GMenuNX for the RetroFW series of firmwares, which itself was a clone of GMenu2X. Initially it looks failiar/similar to GMenu2X but offrs features like ROM previews anbd the ability to deit desktop shortcuts that wouldn't normally be editable in OpenDingux.
