There are two broad categories of resources on Ocean Watch

1. Standard Resource Watch resources
2. Custom Ocean Watch resources

"Standard Resource Watch resources" refer to datasets, layers, and widgets. These are stored on the Resource Watch API and the Resource Watch back office. "Custom Ocean Watch resources" refer to features developed for Ocean Watch including indicators and mini-explore maps. These are configured directly in the Ocean Watch JSON. For more information about each type of resource, navigate to the corresponding page using the sidebar on the right.
