The Shaker Cup is an item that is used to create new drinks and a few foods. It was added in Version 1.2.

Usage
The Shaker Cup functions identically to the Mortar & Pestle. The main difference is that items must be added to it, and doing so will progress the Shaker Cup into a new "stage"--after all "stages" are complete, a new food or drink will be crafted.
To use the Shaker Cup, hold it in your offhand, and put the item you wish to add to the Shaker Cup in your mainhand. Then, hold crouch.
The item in the mainhand will be immediately inserted into the Shaker Cup, and a "progress bar" will appear on the item. There is an order in which valid items must be inserted into the Shaker Cup to craft a new item. The Shaker Cup does not need to be manually cleaned after an item has successfully been crafted, as it will reset itself to be used again from Stage 0. Don't ask how that's sanitary, Minecraft takes place in medieval ages.

[!NOTE]
Despite using the same system that the Mortar & Pestle does, the Shaker Cup cannot be sped up. This is because items added to it are added instantly, and the only wait period is for recipes that require the same item to be added once more--that wait period is 10 ticks (1/2 second).
