The Gourmand's Digest is an book that acts as an in-game wiki for Reg's More Foods.It was added in Version 1.0, but properly implemented in Version 1.2.1.

Because this item has a lot of data within it, it will not be given to players when they first join the world. However, this can be enabled (when the update comes out) with a function.
Usage
Pressing the "Use" key (Right Mouse Button by default) opens the book and shows a list of items the player can click on.
The top of the book reads "Gourmand's Digest, 1st Edition". If an update adds a new food or item, the "edition" will be updated by one and the book will have new information for the player.
For the sake of semi-backwards compatibility, players will have to re-craft the Gourmand's Digest after it has been updated to a new edition. That way, if they choose to revert back a version for any reason (or update as well), they can still use the item and not lose the page they were on.
