Cleavers are an item used for getting bonus drops from mobs.
They were added in Version 1.2.

Usage
Cleavers have natural Looting 2 on them, and deal +6 Attack Damage. They have 150 durability.
When used to mine Cacti, they cause them to drop [Cactus Fruit]]. When used to mine Cake, they drop as [Cake Slices proportional to the amount of slices eaten.
If you're feeling silly, you can put a Cleaver on your head... though it'll look painful.
