Loading the Module

After you have Installed the spellchecker module (package moksha-module-spellchecker in the Bodhi Linux repos), you must load the module.

Right-click an empty spot on your Desktop and in the Main Menu go to Settings and click on Modules.

In the Module Settings Dialog that opens, click on the Launcher Tab at the top and select Spell Checker as pictured below:

Module Settings

Click Load and then Close. The Module is now loaded and available for usage.

It should be noted here that the Quick Launcher Module itself has to be loaded, called Everything (Starter) in the image above. It is loaded by default in Bodhi. If for some reason it is not loaded, you must load it also before you can use the Spell Checker plugin.

Basic Usage

To use, open Moskha's Quick Launcher. It can be opened from the menu or from several keyboard shortcuts by default in Moksha (Alt+Esc , Ctrl+Alt+Space or Win+Space)

Now type 's ' without the single quotes. Be sure to include the space! The string 's ' is known as the trigger string and it is this sequence of characters that call the spell checker plugin. We will see latter that this string can be changed to whatever you wish.

The prompt will change to a colon, indicating the Spell Checker plugin is active. Type the word you wish spelling suggestions for, as best you can spell it. A spelling suggestions list will appear as you type :)
