Function
The interface board only contains USB connectors (and optionally HDMI with transcoder). There is an exception within GL300a, where interface board contains video transcoder even though there is no HDMI out. Having interface on a separate board allows easy replacement in case of the connectors wear out, but also provides easy means of enhancing the radio transmitter with optional HDMI board.

There are multiple versions of the board.
