This page explains how chapters and lesson pages are added.

Overview

Chapters and pages create the structure of the MOOC course. Read more about MOOC structure on the wiki page Create and publish a new course

Steps

1. Enter admin mode (cog icon).
2. Select Pages tab.
3. Create a new chapter (New chapter button).
4. Add lesson pages (New page button).
5. Edit lesson pages (Edit page button).

You need a MOOC.fi user account and permissions to edit the course material. See the Get Started wiki page for more instructions.

3. Create a new chapter

• Click the New chapter button at the bottom of the page.
• Enter the chapter title.
• Click the Create button.

4. Add lesson pages

• Click the New page button.
• Enter chapter title. You can also customize the URL path of the page here if you want to make it shorter for example.
• Click Create

5. Edit lesson pages

• Click the Edit page button for the page you want to edit.
• See the Edit lesson pages wiki page to learn how to edit the contents of a lesson page.
