Loading save file

Before editing save file always make sure to have your own copy of backup.
The Save Editor has built-in backup system however it's also advised for user to backup on their own.

  1. Open the app
  2. CTRL + O or click Open
  3. Navigate the folders into your save file game
  4. Select your save file
  5. Editor should recognise the file assuming it is Tokyo Xtreme Racer' save file

Backup Files

The Save Editor automatically creates backup everytime you edit a save file. The backup file is the unedited save file before any latest session edit used by user. Backup file located in %LOCALAPPDATA%/TokyoXtremeRacer/Saved/USE_Save_Backup/.

Restoring Save File

Backup file has an extension of .bak, in order to restore them as save file simply delete the .bak extension and your save game should back to .sav once again. To restore this backed up save file into the game, simply move the restored .sav save file into your save folder location.

Editing

Users can edit either player data or vehicle data in this tool.

To save your changes you can either:

  • Edit any stats you would like, and then save/save as.
  • Edit any stats, apply the changes, and save once you applied every changes (recommend for editing multiple vehicle data (i.e vehicle upgrades across different cars))

Editing Player Data

Editing player data should be straight forward. Mileages data should use period/dot (.) as decimal separator.

Editing Multiple Vehicle Data

Like previously mentioned, if you are going to edit several vehicle upgrade data, you can do the following

  1. Open the Save Editor as usual
  2. Edit any parameters as you wish (i.e single car)
  3. Once you finished edit a car, apply the changes so the edit saved on memory before selecting other vehicle
  4. Select and edit any other vehicle
  5. Repeat step 3. and 4. until you have fulfilled your need
  6. In case you want have done with your changes, you can save the changes by clicking on Save or Save As...
  7. Your changes has been saved and you can check in game to verify them
