ARC All Staff VPN Setup Instructions - Mac OS

Note: If you do not want to use the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client, you can attempt to configure your own client with the settings for the ARC-TS All Staff VPN It is said, however, that using the AnyConnect client may result in a better experience (fewer unintended disconnections) than other clients.

If you do not already have the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client installed

  1. Download and install the UMVPN-4.8.03052.pkg installer.
  2. Download the VPN-remote-IT-ARCTS-AllStaff.xml file.
  3. Place the VPN-remote-IT-ARCTS-AllStaff.xml file in the following path on your computer: /opt/cisco/anyconnect/profile
  4. Run the client
  5. Select the profile VPN-remote-IT-ARCTS-AllStaff from the drop down menu
  6. Click Connect

If you do already have the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client installed

  1. Download the VPN-remote-IT-ARCTS-AllStaff.xml file.
  2. Place the VPN-remote-IT-ARCTS-AllStaff.xml file in the following path on your computer: /opt/cisco/anyconnect/profile
  3. Restart the Cisco AnyConnect client if it is already running
  4. Select the profile VPN-remote-IT-ARCTS-AllStaff from the drop down menu
  5. Click Connect
