Lmod

We use Lmod.

Read the Lmod documentation

See the following page for guidelines for writing module files and an explanation of our setup for the Great Lakes clusters.

That location will change someday.

See also https://bitbucket.org/um_flux_software/ if you are supposed to be able to write modules.  The main repositories as of Feb 28, 2020, are

gl_modules
armis2_modules
lh_modules
gl_arc_modules (for commercial software we license)
gl_campus_modules (for software restricted to use by people physically on the Ann Arbor [or possibly Dearborn] campus).  The current situation is dicey, and we are basically hoping we are compliant with all terms of all software.

sw_license_tools contains scripts specifically for license monitoring, reporting, or that run from cron on the license server

Some BitBucket clean-up is needed.
