There are various options for this mod you can select when starting a new sandbox game. Understanding what they do is the key to having the best experience with this mod.
Solar Panel Efficiency - This is the percentage of power conversion efficiency of a max output of 83Ah. This is set to an unrealistic 90 by default, simply for reasons of playability. 25% is in the ballpark of modern solar panels, set it to 12 for an accurate 1993 experience. Note that if you set it very low, you will need to build a huge solar array to power even a modest base. It is advisable to raise the loot multipliers if you use a very low setting.
Battery Degrade Chance - Battery degradation is set to a realistic rate by default. If you want to slow battery degradation even further, you can lower this number.
Solar Panel / Crate World Spawns - There are pre-placed solar panels and crates with solar equipment that spawn at certain predetermined locations. This percentage represents the chance that any given panel or crate will be there when you arrive. Set to 100 if you want them to always be there, 0 if you don't want to see any pre-placed stuff.
Loot Rarity Multiplier, Panels, Misc, Batteries - Solar panels and other loot that you'll find randomly are pretty rare by default. You can increase these multipliers if you want to increase the spawn rate. The separate multipliers cover panels, batteries, and the inverter and magazine respectively.
DIY Battery Capacity - The DIY battery is a special kind of battery you can craft from car batteries at electrical lv 5. This option sets its capacity in Ah.
Battery Bank Spawn - Rarity of Battery Bank spawning in new found buildings when you're exploring. Chance is 1 in x, where x is based on the room type and the sandbox option. e.g Uncommon * GarageStorage: 1 in 12 - Rare * electronicsstorage: 1 in 9 - Very Rare * farmstorage: 1 in 80.
Performance - To improve performance you can set the charge frequency to 1h, drain calculation to use the generator drain directly without scanning all items in area and set the chance for world spawns to 0.
