Reporting issues

If you have found a bug in Racket or DrRacket please let us know, please open an issue on GitHub.

If you have found something that does not make sense, but you are not sure if it is a bug or not, try asking on the mailing list.

How to report a bug

1. Take the latest stable or latest development system (check downloads).
2. Make sure that you can reproduce the bug.
3. Ask on Racket Users if you are not sure, check if the bug was already reported on https://github.com/racket/racket/issues
4. Open a bug entry on https://github.com/racket/racket/issues
5. Do not forget to mention the Racket version, your OS and other crucial information
6. Follow your bug. Indeed it may happen that your bug is fixed by introducing another bug fix and you can verify and close it.
