on-get returns values that are stored inside the face and can be invoked with GET-FACE.

The input argument should not be needed when using GET-FACE, but it can be allowed. The return value should be the value that GET-FACE should return.

Simply return the internal value of the face:

on-get: [
  face/state/value
]

Returns the color value from a face that stores a color:

on-get: [
   face/facets/colors
]
