Robot Batteries
All FRC robots are powered from 12V golf cart batteries. The battery feeds into the PDP through a standard push connector. On the robot side, the connector feeds into the PDP directly with the negative (black) lead and through the breaker with the positive (red) lead.
To ensure good performance from your robot, it is advised that you keep your batteries at or above 12 volts, and change them out to recharge. A low battery can lead to reduced speeds and, in extreme cases, brownouts. Ask your doctor if low level batteries are right for you.
In all seriousness, if the batteries should start leaking, inform the safety officer and coaches, and attempt to find the battery spill kit.
