2025 radio configuration stuff - quasics/quasics-frc-sw-2015 GitHub Wiki
For test use (2.4 GHz)
Follow instructions here https://frc-radio.vivid-hosting.net/getting-started/2025-season. Use a VPN since it's somehow blocked on the school wifi. Or bug Sean. For the wiring, we chose option B and connected the radio to the PDH. Connect the radio to the ethernet switch. Like it says, connect an ethernet cable between your laptop and the DS port on the radio. Run the Network Assistant Tool using the instructions here. Run it as administrator and select "Ethernet" when prompted.
Continue following the instructions here. Go to http://10.26.56.1/configuration and upload the newest version of the firmware. Then configure it with 2656, a suffix (Q for sally, F for margaret, etc.), and a WPA key (we used quasics2656
).
Also look at this documentation https://docs.wpilib.org/en/stable/docs/zero-to-robot/step-3/radio-programming.html. Even though it is not recommended, it is much simpler to run the radio at 2.4 GHz. Flip DIP switch 3 as it says, and then you should be able to connect to the robot as usual.
For competition use (6 GHz)
