Jazz ID Registration

Prerequisite

• IBM Intranet ID

About

Your Jazz.net ID is used primarily to control access to the QM source and our planning and tracking resources (i.e. work items). It is also the ID by which team members and users will know you in work items and Jazz.net forums.

Considerations

• IBM requires that you register with your IBM email address
• Users will need to type the ID you choose often, keep it short and simple
• Users will read the ID often, choose an ID that is easy to recognize as yours
• Consider using the same name as your IBM Intranet ID ([email protected] becomes @johnsmith)
• For "Which entry best describes you?" choose "IBM Employee"

Steps

1. Navigate to the Jazz.net Registration Page
2. Complete the form (see considerations above)
3. Read and agree to the Jazz.net Website Terms of Use
4. Select "Submit"
5. Check your IBM email to complete registration

WIKI Edit Access

If you require access to edit the jazz.net WIKI, open a RES Ticket with the proper business justification. If you don't have access to open a RES Ticket, perform a one time self-registration to get access to the Rational Engineering Services project area in RTC.
