Linny-R was originally (2010-2017) developed in Delphi Pascal. This software has now been superseded by the browser-based version, but the policy has been to maintain as much as possible upward compatibility of the XML structure of the model files (.lnr). Linny-R detects "legacy models" by parsing their <version> field. Legacy models typically have version number 0.x.x or 1.x.x.x (three separator dots instead of two).
