I have installation problems

Please contact us in the mailing lists, which is available via [email protected] or https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/gr-gsm. You can subscribe with any e-mail address by following this link: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/gr-gsm/join

To save time, please try to provide full information that will help reproducing it. Minimum information should contain:

• operating system with version,
• kind of installation (how gr-gsm and its dependencies were installed: with pybombs, from distribution's repository, compiled manually)
• version of gnuradio (it can be obtained with: gnuradio-companion --version)
• error messages (in case of pybombs installation they can be obtained after switching it to verbose mode with -v option).

Which OSes are supported by gr-gsm

All releases of gr-gsm are automatically tested with following GNU/Linux distributions:

• Debian testing
• Ubuntu 16.04
• Kali rolling

This is the list of distributions for which we can assure that gr-gsm can be compiled and it works on them (for the extent of automatic tests). It is course not a full list of supported OS'es:

• since the beginning of gr-gsm there exist package for Arch Linux, that was created by Yuval Adam,
• Mac OS X seems to be working now, however as we don't have the hardware, we are unable to test proper installation or function.
