Sonobe Base and Inserts - prworigami/kusudama GitHub Wiki
Base + 2 Pockets
We can breakdown Sonobe unit into 3 separated parts, Base and 2 Pockets.
Base is (1:2) rectangle with Type A folding.
Pocket can be any size that fit into Base edge.
We discover simple creases for any Pocket to be able to attach to Base.
Since Base is Sonobe shape,
they are just 45 degree Vally-Mountain-Mountain creases on the straight line.

Base + Duo Pocket
We can make 2 pockets from the uncut paper.
Paper for Duo Pocket is usually (1:2) rectangle.
This technique is from Tomoko Fuse's book, Floral Globe.
